These sadly named “Lost Tribe” tiles are supposed to act as an obstacle akun demo slot on some spaces in the preliminary phase of the game. But given many societies’ historic mistreatment of native peoples, this facet can generally feel uncomfortable for players (including myself). Instead I use different tiles to indicate pure barriers in these spaces, and this doesn’t have an result on the gameplay.
